Does the option exist or could be added to allow for metric units for temp, wind, pressure, etc. Most of the world uses this system and it would be nice to have on the site.

There's everything in metric units by default in my case. It seems to be based to your location and metric/imperial is applied automatically. You can also change it in settings.
