Wrong temperatures

Palautteesi ja ehdotuksesi

Your website says 24 degrees Celsius in Bitola and 23 in Kruševo at 11:00 on 2026/09/08, while measured temperature at that time is 26 degrees in Bitola and 20 in Kruševo, as seen here: https://uhmr.gov.mk/aktuelni-podatoci/

Imagine if person from Bitola wants to go somewhere where it is cooler and they may miss Kruševo because they will wrongly believe there is only one degree difference, while Kruševo is in fact 6 degrees cooler (or 5.5 if we are exact to one decimal place).

I don't know if your website uses the most advanced AI with purpose of creating the maps, but if it uses, it may mean that even the most advanced AI is not intelligent enough.

The data differs from the measured station values by about 2 °C in both locations. That seems completely normal to me. Temperature fluctuates and can reach different values in different places. By its very nature, a weather model cannot reproduce the exact measured value to within a tenth of a degree. You are using the ICON model; on Ventusky, you can choose from several other models as well.
