Sharp/Square weather system edges vs smooth

Some of my weather system/region edges appear nice and smooth with flowing system boundaries.

Others appear with squared edges and lack system boundary detail.

Am I just in a bad region or are there settings I can adjust to resolve.

It has not always been like this but I can't remember the last time my regions animated properly.

Currently 1600+Mbps DL and 105+ UL on a KS 12900 Intel processor with RTX 3090 Ti video.

There is an interface between two models. If you don't want it, choose just one specific model.

See HRRR model (regional): https://www.ventusky.com/?p=51.09;-114.96;8&l=...
See ICON model (global): https://www.ventusky.com/?p=51.09;-114.96;8&l=...

Without selecting a specific model, a combination of both will be made, which creates a sharp transition at the boundary.
