Updating location for route

Is there a way I can update my location with a route, so that the forecast reflects my moving location?

The location changes after a certain period of time. After how long do you need it to change for your purposes?

I would ideally like to be able to change location on the chart every 2 hours (like plot a route that moves at a certain speed). That will mean I can see the weather for my intended position. I'm mainly interested in doing this for the Se (Sig wave height) and the wind.

The position should already be updating this frequently now. On which device is it not working for you? Doesn’t closing and reopening the app help either? Are you located over the ocean?

Yes - I am a mariner - using the website on my MacBook. Is there a way I could plot a route (and set a speed). That way we'd be able to see the forecast in our locations, without having to interpolate the chart based on our guess of where we will be).

That’s only possible by refreshing the entire page. Automatic movement based on speed is not currently available.

Thanks. Might that be possible for a future upgrade? I known of many mariners who would sign up for that!
