Ventusky on iPadOS crashes with Apple Folio keyboard controls

I use an iPad (latest model of the regular iPad) in combination with Apple’s Folio keyboard. Whenever I try to use pinch to zoom on the map with the trackpad the Ventusky app crashes.

It looks like a bug in the app to me. Zooming with the trackpad shouldn't crash it. I would probably reinstall the app and report it to Ventusky so they can fix it.
