At the moment, it's not possible to transfer subscriptions between devices. However, we have great news: an update is coming in a few weeks that will enable this feature!
Is this feature available yet? I am in the same position.

It is finished now, see: https://my.ventusky.com/guide/news/ventusky-accoun...

You need to sign in to your original Google account to manage ou use your subscription.
Ventusky
Yes, I did the first subscribe with my google play with the same email as my account. Now I m connected to my google account in my android and I m connected to my ventusky account however I in android version I can't see restore my subscription as in iOS ?
I get only my profil without manage Premium !
even in the web I can't find any option to restore subscription :/
To pair a subscription with your account, you need to login to Ventusky account from the device that the subscription is from.
If you have purchased a subscription on iOS, you need to login from iOS to your account for a subscription to be paired with your account.
The same goes for Android.
You cannot buy iOS subscription on Android and vice versa.
Yeah I understand,
The first time that I subscribed few years ago it was from an android phone that I lost.
Now I have new android that I connected to my google account that handle subscription of ventusky. I connect from it to my ventusky account but I can't restore my premium subscription ! As I explained above, there are no option to do restore and the pairing dont work automaticly ! so how can I restore my subscription ?
Thank you
I have enabled some debug logs. Log in to the device with a logged-in Google account, and I will check what is being transmitted.
Thank you perry,
For your information I subscribed to ventusky in 2021 and I renew my subscription every year and it have been more then year that I lost my old android and i can't access to my subscription.
Let's me know if you have a good news for me
I am sorry, but from what I can see the app is sending no premium info. It is correctly linked with your account, but the premium is not enabled. In app, there is no button to "buy" premium? It should be visible when the app is sending this kind of info.
What can you see, if you check google pages:
https://play.google.com/store/account/subscription...
or
https://myaccount.google.com/subscriptions
Can you see the expired subscription?
Another idea.. have you filled payment method on your account? Do you have any other apps subscriptions... are they working correctly on your new phone?
Hi Perry,
Thank you for your reply.
I’ve just checked my Google account subscriptions, and I can confirm that my Ventusky subscription is active. It shows:
Premium layers
Next payment: €2.99 on June 9, 2026
However, in the Android app, I still see a button asking me to purchase Premium, and none of the Premium layers are unlocked.
Unlike the iOS version, the Android app doesn’t show any option to "Restore Purchase" or "Manage Premium", which makes troubleshooting difficult on my side.
Could you please check if there's a known issue with subscription syncing on Android or advise on how to force the app to recognize the active subscription?
Thanks again for your support.
Best regards,
Nadji
If you are logged in on your phone with the same account that has an active subscription, it should pair automatically.
Don't you have more accounts logged or attached to the Android device? That may cause issues, and the app may load data from a different account.
If you click on the purchase button, will it take you to a purchase screen? On this screen, if you try to purchase a subscription, is it with the same account that has an active one?
Hi Perry,
Thanks for your suggestions — they helped me solve the issue! 😊
I had multiple Google accounts on my device, and apparently the app was pulling data from the wrong one. After I removed the other accounts from Google Play and kept only the one linked to my active subscription, the app was finally able to detect my Premium status and unlock all features.
Everything is working fine now. Thanks again for your help!
Best regards,
Nadji
