Ventusky Account Now Allows Sharing Subscription Across All Platforms

We're excited to announce that you can now sync your subscriptions between our website and the Ventusky apps on iOS and Android. Until now, Premium subscriptions were only available for purchase on iOS or Android, and it wasn’t possible to use a subscription bought on one platform—like Android—on another, such as an iOS tablet. That changes today.

With the latest update, we’ve added the option to log into your myVentusky account in both the iOS and Android apps. These accounts, managed by Ventusky, allow you to use your subscription on any device where you are logged in. You can now view a detailed overview of your subscriptions on the My Premium page. Please note that the renewal terms are governed by the platform's terms where the subscription was purchased. Refund or cancellation requests must still be submitted through the store where the purchase was originally made.

Example

Here’s how subscription portability works. For example, if you purchased a subscription on an iOS device via the Apple Store and want to use it on your Android phone, you’ll first need to create a myVentusky account on our website or in the app (see Registration). After logging into your myVentusky account on your iOS device within the Ventusky app, your subscription will automatically pair with your myVentusky account. Once you log into the same myVentusky account on your Android app, the subscription will be possible to use on that device as well—at no extra cost. You can connect up to four devices. If you connect more than four, the oldest connected device will automatically be logged out (see Logged Devices for details).

To successfully share your subscription, make sure that:


  • You have a myVentusky account (you are logged in on this website).

  • You are logged into the same myVentusky account on all devices (iOS / Android).

  • You’ve purchased a subscription on one of the logged-in devices.

Future plans

Looking ahead, we plan to enable subscription purchases directly on our website, without relying on the Apple Store or Google Play. Alongside this, Premium features will be added to the website (currently unlocked for all users, since website subscriptions weren’t previously available). Additionally, we aim to allow not only subscription share but also the ability to sync settings across your devices.

Unifying subscriptions management is a key milestone in our ongoing development. Our progress is funded solely through subscription sales, and every subscription purchase directly supports the growth and operation of Ventusky.
