Apple watch ultra 2 problem with update widgets

I am using apple watch ultra 2 with wOS version 11.5. I have several ventusky widgets on my display. It happens quite often that for example in the morning I look at the display and the values are not updated. If I click the widget on the watch, I see different values(temperatures...) than the ones in the split app. Then I go back to the widgets and they are still out of date.
I have to change the widgets to different ones and then go back to update the values.
If I have the watch app running in the background, it also doesn't update and I always have to force quit and restart it to load the current values.

Thank you for your report. Do the watch(es) have constant internet access? It's possible they don't have a connection at the time of the update. However, the data should update when you open the app.

Yes, they have 24/7 access to the internet. I found that they update after opening, but only after some time. We can live with that
