Bisected (half populated/half not) screen on loading

I live in SW Alaska. I use Ventusky to monitor weather across the North Pacific and Arctic. When Ventusky initializes half the screen is populated by reporting station I've come to use as landmarks, and half it not (see screenshot). The split seems to be roughly along the date line. If I zoom in and then zoom out everything becomes populated. I'm using Chrome on an older machine running Ubuntu 26.04 with 32 Gb ram. Any thoughts? Not a deal killer, just really annoying.
