Coordinates, label edit

It would be useful to have an option to rename or edit dropped pin coordinates with a memorable label. A list of raw latitude/longitude coordinates quickly becomes difficult to manage, whereas names such as "Favourite Beach", "Launch Site", "Fishing Mark 1", or "Viewpoint" make locations much easier to recognise at a glance. The original coordinates would, of course, still be retained in the background for navigation accuracy.

The editing feature in the app is not useable on my S25 Ultra.

Label editing changes made are not saved.

The label reverts back to coordinates.

When does it revert to the coordinates? After saving the renamed location, after restoring the app from the background or randomly?

I have modified my editing procedure.
I now first "save the coordinates as a permanent location".
Then edit the coordinates as they newly appear at the bottom of the saved location list. This works ✅

The same coordinates, at the top of the saved locations list, remain as coordinates, and therein lies the confusion. Now resolved ✅
