I would like to show the radar view combined with the wind speed at the approximate altitude of the clouds. Often the direction of wind speed at that altitude differs from the one at ground level, which is the default, I think.
What I’m going for is a better idea of how storm systems are moving. I know you can show wind speed at different altitudes, but if you switch to radar view, the 2 m windspeed is used.
Right now, the 2 m winds are from SSW, while at 2000 m they’re from the west. Makes a difference if you want to know where your rain is going to come from!
Not sure if I’m asking for a new feature or instructions on how to implement an existing one.
