ECMWF - application crash

After updating the app to version 50.1 for iOS, the app crashes when zooming in on the globe. Restarting the app or phone did not help. I am using iOS 26.1. The app crashes when I set the model to ECMWF as the first one in the app settings.

Try reinstalling the app, please. Do you have any additional settings enabled? Does it really crash every time?

Thank you, but when exactly does it crash? It’s clearly not happening every time, since you're able to open the settings and take a screenshot. What exactly do you do that causes the crash? Could you please upload a video for us as well? I am sorry, but we are still not able to reproduce it.

The app crashes when I zoom out the map to the globe. It happens every time, on both iPhone and iPad. I can't send the video. It's too large a file. Can I send it somewhere else?

Thank you, we’ve likely managed to reproduce it and are working on a fix.

It seems to be related to the secondary wind animation and ECMWF HRES model missing some layers. If you have enabled secondary wind animation, disable it until the fix is ready to prevent app from crashing.

If you don't have the secondary animation enabled, let us know, since it is a different bug

I turned off the secondary wind and the application no longer crashes. So, the cause has been identified.
