I'm wondering Windy ECMWF model gives completly different result than Ventusky. You could take a look: Europe, November 3, 14:00, Frankfurt (Oder): Windy: 20 °C, Ventusky: 12 °C. Also, looking to the map, it seems that's completly different calculations, at least for Europe.
So, what's going on here, which one should be considered newer/more accurate? It seems 12 °C is more probable in this case.
John Gordon Some weather services limit model update frequency. With us, both the free and Premium versions always provide the latest updates. According to ECMWF, a change in weather pattern is expected on November 3rd — with temperatures reaching up to 20 °C in eastern Germany, while the west will already start cooling down. However, the exact position of this boundary still varies between model outputs. The latest run already shows cooling in western Germany.
Ok, but Ventusky still uses 22 km low res model (22 km resolution), while Windy has 9 km hi res ECMWF. Do you plan to upgrade?
EDIT: Ventusky ECMWF calculations for far future are currently completly different, than the same date on Windy for Poland. Windy version seems to be more accurate and closer to weather.com forecast (weather.com is always most accurate).
However, short time forecast is similar in both cases.
