Dear Ventusky Team,
First of all, thank you for creating such an informative and visually impressive weather app. I regularly use it to track weather systems around the globe and truly appreciate its detailed maps and user-friendly interface.
I’d like to suggest adding more comprehensive tracking and visualization features for tropical storms and hurricanes worldwide. Specifically:
Individual Storm Widgets: A dedicated widget for each active storm displaying live data such as pressure, wind speed, and movement direction.
Intensity Color Gradient: The storm path and the storm name label could use a color-coded gradient based on the Saffir-Simpson scale (or a similar scale) to quickly convey intensity at a glance.
Storm Trail Visualization: A visual trail showing the storm’s previous path, with the same intensity color gradient applied. There could be an option to toggle the trail on or off for cleaner views when needed.
Dynamic Storm Label: The storm’s name could change color in real-time to match its current intensity level, providing an at-a-glance indicator without needing to hover or click.
These additions would greatly enhance the experience for users interested in cyclone activity and improve situational awareness during storm season.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and keep up the excellent work!
Best regards,
Étienne
