I love VentuSky. When it is raining heavily where I live, I often want to see how it compares with the rest of the world. It would be fantastic to have an optional leaderboard or “extremes” panel showing the current rainiest, hottest, coldest, windiest, snowiest, etc. locations on Earth.
For example, a “Rainiest current spot” list could show the top 10 locations by precipitation over the last 1 or 3 hours, with their rainfall totals and a link that opens each location on the map. The same concept could work for temperature, wind gusts, snowfall, and pressure.
This would make it much easier to explore global weather extremes without manually scanning the map.
