Location\-Based Rain Alerts
Dear Development Team,
I really appreciate your app’s visual design and detailed weather maps\. I would like to suggest a feature that would make it even more useful: automatic notifications when rain is approaching a user’s location\.
While checking the radar, I noticed nearby precipitation that appeared to be moving toward my area\. It would be extremely helpful to receive a notification such as:
“Rain is likely to begin at your location in approximately 30 minutes\.”
These alerts could be based on radar observations, the movement of precipitation, and short\-term forecasts\. Allowing users to choose how far in advance they receive alerts would be particularly useful\. Where possible, notifications could also include the expected intensity and duration of the rain\.
This would be especially valuable for motorcyclists, pedestrians, and anyone spending time outdoors, helping them prepare without repeatedly checking the map\.
