GPS Location

I don't have a GPS location on the map and when I get it it's totally wrong, always in the same place, South Atlantic. It is an app for android.
As a sailor, I see this as a major drawback.

That's weird, did you use the locate button in the top left corner to get your current position? Does it work for you in other apps?

Correct, using that button my position goes to south atlantic.
I use a couple of other apps and that same locate button works great.

Have you worked on this issue because for a short time I had the correct location and now it is wrong again?!

We've made a few adjustments, but they won't be released until the next version towards the end of the month.

make sure you arent using any vpn or anything like that on your device.

I'm having a similar issue.
It was working a few days ago.
Now when opening the app, it just read "Searching for GPS"
Several other apps find GPS.
On a cruise around South America and would love keep track of the weather near the Drake Passage.
No VPN.
Rebooted the phone.
It's Pixel6Pro Android 15

Location is locked on London. I'm in UK but not London. I cannot edit this on my Samsung Galaxy Classic Watch 4.

On the watch, the problem might be that it is not synchronized with the main application on the phone.

Is this GPS location issue being worked? I am a new premium subscriber and do like the app for sailing. This weird GPS location issue is bothersome though. I am in Mexico and one minute my location is a hundred miles inland (wrong) the next it is ten miles south of my actual location. Like others, I can confirm that my GPS is read correctly by other apps (Windy, Predictwind).

On an unrelated note, the search button in your header for your web site seems to be broken.

I have version 41.0, dated March 2025 on both my Samsung Note 9 and my Samsung tablet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone to no avail.

Apparently, it has to do with caching the last position. We will fix this in the next version to reduce caching. Thank you!

However, we don’t see the error anywhere on the website. Could you clarify what you mean (the search button in your header for your web site seems to be broken)? It is not search button - it is GPS location button.

I am referring to the magnifying glass icon on this page and other web pages. Not in the app. Tested in Chrome and Edge. See Snippet below.
