ICON-EU update times not clear

How to use Ventusky

Hey, I am using Ventusky (free version) almost daily and for the past few years I cannot figure out when exactly the ICON-EU model is being updated in Ventusky:

asdf

As you can see it says this regarding the update time:

Updated: 9 AM UTC (next update: 12 PM UTC - prepare)

And while I was typing this it changed to:

Updated: 12 PM UTC (next update: 3 PM UTC - prepare)

Unfortunately right now it is 8:45 PM EEST on my end which is UTC+3 so however I try to make sense of the reported time in UTC it doesn't make sense.

For example, if the next update was supposed to happen at 12 PM UTC that would mean 3 AM my time (EEST), but it got updated at around 8 PM my time, and just by looking at this so many times I have the feeling that it is reporting incorrect time for the updates, because I can detect changes in the forecast for rain, for example, and that update clearly happens at different times than the reported ones, even if I try to convert it to my local timezone.

Can you probably check if that is correct or tell me what mistake am I doing? I really want to know when and how often is the ICON-EU model is being updated on Ventusky.

The model is updated every three hours. The time shown on Ventusky indicates the model run time, not the actual update time. This means it refers to the model run that started at 12 UTC. The model itself takes several hours to complete its calculations.

We will consider changing the word "updated" to "run".
