Improved colour range

Frequently, I will use Ventusky to find the most extreme weather in the world right now, but sometimes it can be difficult to find the most extreme temperature, wind speed/gusts, wave height, etc. because there isn't enough range in colour.
Example: it is frequently below -40 in Antarctica, so most of the continent is white - this makes it difficult to locate the lowest temperature on the continent.
I would like it so there is a greater range of colours so that more extreme weather can be more easily located, or have it so the user can set their own colours for temperature.

Thank you for your message. Covering all values with a color can be quite tricky.

However, you can use the "Show values in grid" feature to display the exact values on the map. This will allow you to easily identify the extremes.

There is one problem with using this method. Since the numbers are black, it is very difficult to read when the temperature is very high.
Perhaps a feature could be added where the user can change the colour of the numbers to white?
