Incorrect rendering of Weather Conditions Overlay symbols

Your feedback and suggestions

Hi,
I would like to report a bug in the Ventusky app (current version 50.3).
The symbols for the Weather Conditions Overlay are rendered incorrectly at certain zoom levels. This affects all condition types (snow, thunderstorm, rain, etc.). The symbols appear distorted or incorrect depending on the zoom level.
This issue seems to be device-specific. It occurs on a Google Pixel 10 Pro running the latest Android 16.
I tried the same app version on a Samsung Galaxy A55 and the symbols are rendered correctly at all zoom levels.

Let me know if you need any more details or screenshots to help investigate.

Thanks! :)

Thank you for your report. Did you observe this issue in the previous version as well, or only in the new one? Does it happen at all zoom levels? Would reinstalling the app help?

Unfortunately, reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue.
I also tested several older versions of the app, specifically 50.0, 47.0, and version 40.0, which was the first version where the Weather Conditions Overlay was available. In all of these versions, the symbols are rendered incorrectly on the Pixel.
The issue only occurs at higher zoom levels. At lower zoom levels, the symbols look correct.

Thank you. This will help. We’ll look into it.

Do you see the same problem with the new warning layer icons?

I’ve checked, and the symbols on the new Warnings layer are displaying correctly at all zoom levels.
