Launch map issue

I love the ventusky platform, with this one glaring issue aside. Whether I log in or not the default map location is ALWAYS Europe. I am in the US. Why can't the map location (automatically) load be based on our myventusky profile location setting. Seems like an easy database script to read the profiler's location settings to load appropriate map area. Any advice is appreciated if I'm missing something here.

Location is based on your IP address. The map is, of course, loaded based on the location determined by this address. Unfortunately, I don't know why it isn't working for you. You might be using something like a VPN, which can prevent it from being recognized properly. Still, on the second load, the position should appear where you were last located. If that doesn't work either, then there's likely an issue with your browser.
