Mouse Hover Data

In my daily-use app, I’d love to see an upgrade to the mouse hover feature, making it more detailed or adding an overlay box on the side that shows multiple pieces of information as you move the mouse around. For example, if I’m viewing precipitation, it could display not only that layer but also other data from the same model at that location—like wind gusts, wind direction, CAPE, helicity values, and wind details from lower to upper levels, along with temperatures. I’d want this for the website version, which would be amazing compared to the current setup where I still enjoy flipping through layers. It would also be incredible if, when looking at a model like HRRR, it could show corresponding values from other models like GFS, Euro, or GEM for that layer. This kind of feature would be a total game changer.

That is certainly an interesting feature, but it is difficult to implement on mobile devices and may be more demanding on the server.

start small then build up to see how the server deals with it, I think it should be website exclusive for sure. I've been thinking of so many ideas to get you guys up there especially since I use it daily.
