New version of the Ventusky app 51

Regarding the new version of the Ventusky app for iOS: 1) Is there any way to align the frame with the background, i.e., the corners of the frame with the warnings? 2) Widget – only dots are displayed, not numbers. And what does the light red part of the graph mean? Restarting the app did not help.

Thank you, we will fix the values in the graph and also the borders of the warning banner. This is an error. The shading in the graph only indicates the distinction between day and night.

Great update! Thank you for adding weather warnings and the new widgets! It would be nice if the weather warnings were also displayed within widgets (call sign or warning triangle).

I have a question about the widget that displays the UV index. The widget shows a value of 8, but according to the forecast, it should be 12, which can also be seen in the Ventusky app itself. I understand that a different forecast model is probably used, but the difference in values is significant.

Hi -- I saw this thread so thought I would add to it instead of creating a new one.

1) On the new widget, the precipitation shows the bars but no value with it. Always 0.

2) Some widgets no longer allow the selection of Day. The widget preview clearly shows Day but the selection is no longer available.

3) I could have sworn all notifications were sent as priority. That was either never the case or no longer. Summaries are not getting sent to the top via priority. It would be great to have it be sent as priority to at least a toggle.

4) UV widget is showing 0 when it is clearly not 0.

5) The heart emoji on pressure change notification. What is that for? Is it to indicate pressure? Perhaps a bar chart emoji is more appropriate.

1) Decimal places are missing there; we will fix it.
2) I don’t understand — some of them only display the forecast for the next few hours. There was no option to select a day.
3) If I understand it correctly, you would like to set a different priority for those notifications?
4) It could be cloudy in the area. Why can’t it be 0?
5) It’s just an icon (without any meaning)

2) see screenshot of the widget preview (if I can get it to attach). It clearly shows days but when added, days is not a selection to pick from. Im a new user so maybe I am missing some dependent settings?

3) on iOS you apps can get Priority Status. It would be great to have your app tweaked in a way to help apples intelligence understand this is a priority status.

4) I would expect it cannot be 0 because inside the app it was showing 5

5) oh ok then thats odd, to me at least. Thought I saw some other notifications that had more related emojis.

2) I see, but that doesn’t make sense — it’s just an illustrative image. Otherwise, the same data would appear there twice. The bar always shows hourly forecasts.

4) that’s strange. Try removing the widget and adding it again.

2) sure but I was expecting the bottom portion to be adjustable to perhaps hours or different “additions”. I saw the preview as it was showing both areas could have Day. I’d suggest fixing the preview so it is accurate or giving that customization.

Other widget seem to have data issues as well. Medium size widget does not pull current location Day data. Have to use saved location and even then half the time the location will not appear. Widget is blue with grey bars.

Not an issue for small or large widget. Pls fix
