Hi,
when selecting the precipitation layer, there are options for accumulation like 1 or 3 hours. On the right side of the web app there is a scale used for different intensity. Now, my question is, does the accumulation show "total precipitation amount in mm for given interval" or "precipitation in mm/h or mm/3 hours (normalized)"?
For instance assume I'm using ECMWF model where there is 3 hours accumulation option. Now at 16:00 there is value of "3" on some sector of the map. Now, does the value "3" means as "total of 3 mm for 3 hours" or "3mm/3hours as normalized"? Because there is a difference if there was a storm and 3 mm has fallen for 10 minutes ( the "normalized" mm/h would be a much larger) or it was a light rain and it fall for 3 hours straight? What I would like to have is to be able to switch from "normalized" to "total accumulated" (and back).
