User 698906715 It's just about adding context; you don't have to use these descriptions. We'll consider their exact wording – currently, a different labeling than the standard is used, that's true (the health risk mention in label is related to hourly exposure). The general rule is that a UV index above a certain threshold is harmful (reaching unhealthy level for specific exposure). People generally underestimate the risks of UV radiation and often believe that having a tan is healthy. While UV radiation is important for health, high levels of it are not. The value of an index alone, without context, is pretty much meaningless.
Ventusky Put the context somewhere else. Seeing it repeated all over the map at all of our saved places is just messy. Take power users into consideration- don't be like Apple.
User 698906715 Better yet, put it in settings. Some of us already know how to interpret the numbers we're looking at, and don't need "context". An option to hide that info for UVI, AQI, and whatever else has it on the map would be perfect.
