I am not a professional but use this because I’m a golfer. I have shown this to every starter and groundskeeper who I meet and find it extremely precise. What I’m not so smart about is Radar. Why doesn’t it show probable radar for the next days and what is the difference in precipitation which I believe is the humidity in the air and why is it available for future days and not the radar.
Im sure I’m wrong about it, but please let me know. If the precipitation looks intense, what does this mean? Does it mean rain?
It’s so important for golfers to know accurate wind speeds, especially wind gusts and rain amounts. If I’m in my home, I’m protected by from wind and temps but when I go to a golf course, it’s wide open and weather is totally different…temps, wind gusts, wind directions, etc. -all matter how you play and dress for the day. I open the app all the time to check wind directions since they change all over the course. One day the whole course was empty because intense thunderstorms were forecast by all the US weather apps starting in the morning and I went anyway because yours said about 15 minutes of strong rain in about an hour and then 3 hours later it would be a wash out. I showed the starter (who is the guy who sets the pace on the golf course) and he opened Ventusky on his laptop. I literally was the only person with my group on the course. Everyone had cancelled. Your app was perfect. It was so accurate. We had the course to ourselves and played all 18 holes, stopping to put on rain gear for only 20 minutes.
