I understand that premium accounts can’t be carried to a new phone, but mine is not a new phone. It just stopped recognizing my premium-ness all of a sudden. I’m using iOS and have everything updated.

I am sorry to hear that. Try closing and reopening the app, or reinstalling it entirely, please. If your subscription stops working, ensure you are logged on your device into the Google or Apple account used for the purchase.
