For example Yekaterinburg changes to Sverdlovsk, also in the same region there's other cities that change name to old soviet name, can't find them all but another example Novouralsk -> Sverdlovsk-44, Snezhinsk -> Chelyabinsk-70, it's a little confusing.
It also depends on the language, this is the case in English and Russian, other languages seems fine from what i quickly checked.
