Hello,I noticed a major rendering and data parsing bug on your website regarding several large regional capitals in Russia and Kazakhstan.
When searching for these cities or clicking on them, your system incorrectly displays their pre-Soviet or Soviet-era historical names (some of which haven't been in use for over a century), even in the page headers and URL structures. This affects major logistics hubs and cities with millions of citizens.
Here are the examples that I found:
Novosibirsk (population 1.6M+) is rendered as Novo-Nikolaevsk https://www.ventusky.com/ru/novosibirsk
Yeka... (population 1.5M+) is rendered as Sverdlovsk https://www.ventusky.com/ru/yekaterinburg
No... is rendered as Stalinsk https://www.ventusky.com/ru/novokuznetsk
Kem... is rendered as Shcheglovsk https://www.ventusky.com/ru/kemerovo
Elista is rendered as Stepnoy https://www.ventusky.com/ru/elista
Semey (Kazakhstan) is rendered as Semipalatinsk https://www.ventusky.com/ru/semey
Khujand (Tajikistan) is rendered as Leninabad https://www.ventusky.com/ru/khujand
It seems your data parser or script is incorrectly pulling the old_name or alt_name tags from OpenStreetMap (OSM) instead of the official name or name:en tags, overriding the current legal names of these cities. Or some local idiot is mudding the water. Could you please check the tag priority in your map-rendering script? If this database issue is on a higher-tier naming service provider, please let me know so I can report it to them.

P.S. Oh and it may be important that I asked you before to change Stalinsk back to Novokuznetsk and you did, but change only lasted for a few weeks before it was returned to incorrect Stalinsk. I made peace with it as it was only the one city affected, but now I see that this is a pattern for an entire region that affects major cites.
P.P.S. All of the name changes revert them not just to the random old names, but to the specific Stalin period names so it my be some bad actor actions and not an innocent bug of using old names from database.
