I would like to kindly suggest adding the Italian model ICON-2I. It is the official high-resolution forecast for Italy, made by ItaliaMeteo and ARPAE. It covers Italy, the Alps, the Mediterranean Sea, and nearby countries.
I think this model would be very useful.
The Mediterranean is an important area for weather in southern Europe, and Italy has many mountains, coasts, and islands. A model built for this region can give a clearer picture than models centered on other countries.
You already added ICON-CH even though ICON-DE covers some similar Alpine areas. That was a good choice, because each model is made for its own region. For the same reason, I believe ICON-2I would be a valuable addition for Italy and the central Mediterranean.
I am sure many users in Italy and nearby countries would appreciate it. I understand this may take time and work, and I only wanted to share this idea.
