Weather cams showing an empty box

I noticed today that although when I hover over a webcam icon, i can see the image thumbnail appear but when I click on the icon, the box on the right opens with nothing inside other than an X in the right corner. I tried it in Chrome Incognito as well and the same occurs. This is on a PC Chrome browser.
