I have noticed that the wind gusts are consistently lower than regular wind speeds at Brea, California, USA. I have not noticed this for any other location. I suggest that you investigate this. Thank you for providing an interesting and informative website.

Thank you for your report. Could you please send us screenshots showing this?
The day after I reported this anomaly (which had happened about 6 days in a row) it stopped and the wind gust was shown higher than the wind speed. I will be alert and the next time it happens i will send you a screen shot.
