Discover Detailed Weather Insights with New Isolines and High-Altitude Wind Animations

The Ventusky app now features enhanced data visualizations that offer a clearer understanding of atmospheric conditions. Isolines are now accessible in both our iOS or Android apps, allowing users to set isolines for more than just pressure. The menu includes options for temperature two meters above ground, temperature at 850 hPa level, and dew point forecast. By combining isolines with different data layers, users can gain deeper insights into the atmosphere. For instance, overlaying temperature data with dew point isolines allows you to quickly assess how many degrees the air needs to cool for fog to form.

Another significant addition is the secondary wind display using animated streamlines at higher altitudes. This feature enables users to track wind at two different levels simultaneously. For example, you can map ground-level winds with white streamlines and winds at 3 km altitude with black streamlines, making it easier to observe variations across altitudes and prepare for activities such as flying.

These newly introduced functions enhance the monitoring of atmospheric conditions, positioning the Ventusky app as a powerful tool for professional users, including pilots.
