Hurricane Beryl hit Texas exactly in line with the 5-day forecast
Hurricane Beryl hit Texas today near Bay City as a Category 1 hurricane. The prediction of its path on the Ventusky platform was very accurate. Even when it was in Jamaica 5 days ago, it was clear on our app and website that it was going to hit Texas (see video below showing 5 days old forecast).
Storm Beryl has arrived in the Houston area, exactly in line with the forecast from our app / website several days ago when it was just in Jamaica.💨 It's good that the forecast for this year's first significant hurricane was so accurate. 👍 pic.twitter.com/B8IFo3gFBK— Ventusky (@Ventuskycom) July 8, 2024
Hurricane Beryl was the first strong hurricane of this season. It even reached category 5 (the highest) over the Caribbean Sea on July 2. Never in the past has been major hurricane recorded so early in the Atlantic.
This year's hurricane season is set to be very active. Let's hope that the forecasts of other hurricanes will be as accurate.
