Why the names of the states of Australia have also become visible in the map? Previously, country subdivision names were shown only for US and Canada, now they are also shown for Australia. And why they have "State of" in front of the names, like "State of New South Wales" instead of "New South Wales"?

They've been available since the same time as in the US and Canada. We can shorten the names and omit "State of."

I had never noticed that until now. I think that country subdivision names should also be shown in some other countries where the subdivisions are large enough in area to be shown in lower zoom levels (such as the zoom levels 5 and 6) like Russia, China, India, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Currently borders of the states of India are not even shown in the zoom level 5, only from the zoom level 6 down. Also e.g. Iran does not have its subdivision boundaries currently shown in the zoom level 5, despite that its size would warrant showing them in that zoom level.
A good thing would be that when clicking a name of the country or subdivision, the name would take to the page showing the list where one can click the weather forecast for places in that country or subdivision.
