Premium subscription

Have a subscription to premium with google play but recently changed to apple and it does not recognise my google subscription. Do I need to cancel my google play subscription and renew it on Apple store for it to work?

Thank you for contacting us. You can use your Google Play subscription on your iPhone, but you first need to open Ventusky on your Android device and link your subscription to a myVentusky account. If you no longer have access to your Android device and cannot link your subscription to myVentusky account, you will need to cancel your Google Play subscription and purchase a new one through the Apple App Store.
