The app and website should remember the last used settings. The only limitation currently is that these settings can't be shared between devices. Can you describe the problem?
In my case, while using web app, when I for instance set the weather model (ECMWF) it is "saved" as part of URL only, that is I need to bookmark this whole URL. If I go to main site (ventusky.com), then the model is reset to default alongside some other options. On the other hand, resolution is "saved", that is it works when I navigate to main site.

Yes, that's right. We certainly don't want to save the model change as a permanent setting.

I have Ventusky on my I phone and it retains my settings. I also have Ventusky on my laptop but it does not retain my settings. This is most annoying. Can you correct this please?

Website remember the last used settings. Try a different browser or make sure you have cookies and local storage enabled.
