Suggestions

Your feedback and suggestions

Here are a few suggestions that came to mind.

1. Add annual precipitation anomaly.
2. Add an option to export weather parameters from selected points and cities to CSV.
3. Add fire risk.
4. Add observations from weather stations being displayed on the map.
5. Add 16-day ECMWF forecast.
6. Add new snowfall to past days, currently it is only available for future days.
7. You could add snow depth maps for at least a few years farther to the past as currently, as I have not found a global map for this, only a few regional maps. I consider snow depth a more important parameter than precipitation and wind speed. Also, you could add pressure systems and weather fronts to all maps up to 1979.
8. Add an option to display temperatures in Kelvin.
9. Add Canadian Air Quality Health Index.
10. Add day/night map, customizable by time zone.
11. Add snow depth, pressure, humidity and UV to meteogram.

Thank you for a very nice list of suggestions. What are Kelvins used for you – what are their practical applications?

11) Some of these parameters are already present in the meteograms in the app on iOS and Android.

New suggestions:
1. Add an option to swipe between two layers on cursor on website.
2. Add type of precipitation (rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain).
3. Add heating, cooling and growing degree days.
4. Add an option to switch between different models in meterograms.
5. Add some layers further into past, such as snow depth, air quality and temperature anomaly.
6. Currently times in Tibet are shown in Xinjiang Time (UTC+6) instead of real UTC+8. Xinjiang has times shown in that time too, but it is because that time zone is used there alongside with UTC+8. But it is not used in Tibet at all.
7. Review some place names and romanizations. For example, in South Korea currently:
- 서울 (Seoul)
- 광주 (Gwangju)
- 부산 광역시 (Busan) (hangul too long)
- 강릉 (Kang-neung)
- 태백 (T'aebaek)
- 청송 (Cheongsong gun)
- 진주 (Chinju)
- 고창 (Koch'ang)
- 신안 (Moppo)
- 영주 (Eisen)
- 영광 (Reiko)
- 금산 (Kinzan)
- 홍천 (Hongch'on)
- Geumho-Ri (without hangul)
All of these should follow Revised Romanization, currently it is a mix of that and previous romanizations, and even some names that do not represent any of widely-used romanization.
8. Add 1-hour or even 30-minute meteograms to both website and app.
9. Add 1-hour maps to historical archive.
10. Add dew point.
11. Is there an option to view accumulated precipitation for e.g. one week, one month or one year? If not, this could be added.
12. Add station-level pressure.
13. Add elevation map.
14. Add route planner which would tell weather one the route. Would be available on every place in the world.
15. Add many different air quality indices, currently only US AQI is available.
16. Add an option to customize colors used on scales.
