Time intervals

Why the historical archive displays data at 3-hour intervals, instead of 1-hour? And why precipitation is always displayed at 3-hour intervals, even for days when other parameters are displayed at 1-hour intervals?

You can view future precipitation in either 1-hour or 3-hour intervals. Please keep in mind that the 3-hour interval shows accumulated precipitation, meaning it includes all of the 1-hour data.

For historical data, we do not store precipitation at 1-hour intervals, as it would require too much storage.
