We’re excited to announce a major update to the Ventusky Apple Watch app, introducing two powerful new features that enhance how you experience weather information on the go.

Live Radar and Webcam Integration

With this update, we’ve brought one of our most popular mobile features, the live radar map, directly to your Apple Watch. Now, you can get an instant overview of precipitation in your area, seeing real-time conditions rather than relying solely on predictive models. This makes it easier than ever to anticipate weather changes, whether it’s rain or snow.

Another exciting addition is the integration of webcams. You can now check real-time images from various locations worldwide, right from your wrist. This feature is perfect for verifying current conditions like fog, snow, or clear skies, without needing to switch devices.

Enhanced Notifications

We’ve also expanded our notification capabilities. In addition to the regular morning and evening weather summaries, umbrella reminders, and lightning alerts, you’ll now receive alerts for waves, freezing rain, and pressure changes. These notifications are customizable, allowing you to set your preferred parameters, such as the distance of a lightning strike that triggers an alert.
